How the WhatsApp service works
You stay in control of your number. Ah Va does the work in it.
You connect your own WhatsApp Business number
Your business keeps its own WhatsApp Business number and account. During onboarding you authorise VirtualAssistant SG to send and receive messages on that number through the WhatsApp Business Platform. Nothing is sent until you connect and switch the AI on.
Ah Va reads incoming enquiries and replies for you
When a customer messages your business, Ah Va reads the message, understands the intent, and replies on your behalf using your services, prices and booking rules. You decide whether she answers automatically or drafts a reply for your team to approve.
She books, confirms and updates
Ah Va can check availability, take a booking, confirm it, and write it into your calendar or booking system. Customers get a clear confirmation back on WhatsApp.
She follows up, with permission
For reminders and follow-ups that fall outside the 24-hour customer-service window, Ah Va uses pre-approved message templates only. Customers who reply STOP are removed from follow-ups immediately and are not messaged again.
Your team takes over any time
The moment a sale is close, a complaint surfaces, or a customer asks for a person, Ah Va hands the conversation to your team. You can also switch the AI off and run the inbox manually whenever you want.

Data and privacy
How message data is used, in plain English.
We only handle WhatsApp data to run the service you connect us to. Here is exactly what that means.
What we process
Inbound and outbound WhatsApp messages on your connected number, the sender's WhatsApp display name and number, and the booking or enquiry details inside the conversation. We process this only to operate the service you signed up for: replying, booking, and following up on your behalf.
Why we process it
To read and understand customer enquiries, generate replies on your behalf, create and confirm bookings, and send reminders or follow-ups you have configured. We do not sell message data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Opt-out and consent
Every follow-up respects opt-out. A customer who replies STOP is unsubscribed across the follow-up channels at once and is not contacted again. Follow-up templates are submitted for approval before they can be used.

Whose WhatsApp number does the AI use?
Your own. You connect your existing WhatsApp Business number and account. Customers see your brand, not ours. You can disconnect at any time.
Can I keep a human in the loop?
Yes. You can run Ah Va in auto-reply mode, draft-for-approval mode, or switch her off entirely and handle the inbox yourself. Handover to your team happens on the triggers you set.
How do customers opt out?
A customer replies STOP and is removed from all follow-ups immediately. We treat opt-out as final and do not message them again unless they opt back in.
What about messages outside the 24-hour window?
Free-form replies are only sent inside the 24-hour customer-service window. Reminders and follow-ups outside that window use pre-approved message templates only, in line with WhatsApp Business Platform rules.
