Your right to deletion
VirtualAssistant SG (www.virtualassistant.com.sg), operated by Best Marketing Agency Pte Ltd, UEN 201936773M, lets you request deletion of the personal data we hold about you, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
How to request deletion
Email hello@virtualassistant.com.sg with the subject "Data deletion request". Tell us the name, email, or phone number linked to the data so we can find it, and what you would like deleted. To protect your data, we may first verify that the request comes from you or from someone authorised to make it.
What we delete
On a verified request, we delete the personal data associated with you. This may include your account profile, business information, call recordings and transcripts, WhatsApp messages, and captured contact details. We also instruct the third-party processors that hold this data on our behalf to delete their copies.
If a business used Ah Va to talk to you
If you called or messaged a business that uses Ah Va, that business owns your conversation data and we process it on their behalf. You can ask us to delete it using the email above, and we will action it or pass your request to that business as appropriate.
Timeline
We respond to deletion requests within 30 days. In any case, most call recordings and transcripts are automatically deleted after a default retention period of 90 days.
What we may keep
We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires it, for example billing and tax records, or where we need it to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. We keep only what is necessary, and delete it when it is no longer required.
